There are many different strategies out there today for losing weight - it can be so confusing for people who struggle with their weight.

We used to think that eating low fat is most important, but now we hear eating low-carb is more important.

Some plans say to cut a meal or two out, but others say eat more meals daily.

Some say simply exercising more is the key, while others say just make some changes in diet or add some pills to help lose weight.

Exercise using weights or aerobics?

Even with changes to diet and exercise routines, some are struggling with weight loss. Research is now showing why.

Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst has studied this field extensively, and has now released a report showing that many of the typical foods we eat cause problems in our digestive tract that makes losing weight a losing battle for many people.

We now know that plaque deposits and parasites in the gut are two problems that complicate the issue of weight loss for many people.

These digestive issues can be addressed, making diet and exercise changes much more effective for some people.

I know everyone is looking for the magic pill, but if it existed we’d all be using it!

We still need to watch what we eat, especially when it comes to certain starchy foods.

And yes, we do need to do a moderate amount of exercise each day, as well.

Until we deal with the digestive issues mentioned above, however, the usual diet and exercise strategies may not be enough for many of us.
