Liverpool’s oldest goalscorer, Billy Liddell managed to get a goal away against Stoke City when he was 38 years old and 55 days. That was on March 5th 1960. Their youngest ever goalscorer is Michael Owen who scored when he was about 17 and a half years old against Wimbledon in 1997 - May 6th to be precise.
The most number of hat-tricks were completed by Gordon Hodgkinson who managed 17, while the most number of hat tricks scored during a single season was Roger Hunt who managed 5 hat tricks during 1961-1962.
Ian Rush is confirmed as being their top first team goalscorer with 346. Roger Hunt managed the most league goals with 245.
One of the worst goalscorers was Ephraim Longworth who managed 371 games without a goal.
The highest transfer fee they ever paid was for Fernando Torres, while the highest recorded amount of money they received was £12.5 million for Robbie Fowler.
