It is through networking that you meet new people that you could mutually benefit from in future, and not only that, it is a cost-effective way of advertising yourself and your business. You can increasingly expand your contacts and prospects list, as well as increase your source of information.
Your local Real Estate Investment Club (REI) is a great resource of information. You can join your REI Club and meet other investors who can share with you some great information that you might need and lead you to other investors. It is definitely a good resource that you can benefit from.
Advertising is the most commonly used ways of reaching potential clients. There is not a more ordinary way to advertise than to run ads in the paper. Put in an ad on the Classified Ads section under the “Wanted to buy” part. It is a simple and ordinary, yet always effective way to get investors calling. Put up as many “We buy houses” signs in as many areas that you can reach in your target area.
Investors want to be provided with detailed information about the property you are presenting to them. So be sure you are thorough and accurate in your search, and furnish a good information report.
Make sure you always carry plenty of business cards. You can bump into prospects as soon as you step out of the house.
