How do you remove stretch marks (arguably one of a females most common physical ailments)? Stretch marks aren’t just a bane of gals though, men suffer them too. To put it simply, if you have gotten hefty or slimmed down rapidly at any point in time, got into lifting weights, or given birth then you have most likely been involved with stretch marks at some time in your life.

Some people, unfortunately, are just so embarrassed about stretch marks and distressed by them, they begin to camouflage the affected places - it can’t be healthy for anyone to feel they have to do that, instead you need to aggressively target the issue. Stretch marks are a sore issue, there is no easy way to put it, but not taking action and letting them pick what you wear just isn’t the best solution to repairing the situation at hand - it’s your health and you must maintain it as best you can.

Removing tough stretch marks can, and often is, a pricey venture. New methods, techniques, and products are constantly being advertised as the fix-all solution, so which ones work and which ones are nothing more than a pretty package? Some people can afford such expensive procedures as laser surgery or microdermabrasion, but it’s still too pricey for most people. It’s not the only route though, there are plenty of other safe alternatives.

The purchase of Stretch mark removal creams and lotions designed specifically for treating stretch marks are one method most people use, but you can also make your own lotions by purchasing vitamin E tablets and taking daily or the capsules containing the oil themselves - break them open and rub them gently onto the affected area.

Getting rid of stretch marks can be done from home too! If you time when you apply creams, bought or home-made then you can regulate how your skin ingests the creams for maximum potential benefit. Applying after a shower or bathing, can make a huge difference to how well the cream ’sinks’ into your skin thus increasing the elasticity which is what was lost when the stretch marks happened in the first place.

A lot of skeptics claim that lotions don’t get past your first layer of skin, but this is because they apply it at the wrong times. After that shower or bath, your body will absorb the stretch mark removal cream more effectively, and you will see a better result in your fight against stretch marks.

What you eat is also a major factor in the condition of your skin. Did you know that people suffer sunburn a lot less when they ingest just water, instead of other so called ‘healthy’ drinks? That is a well known fact and the same applies when it comes to the restructuring of your skin and getting rid of Stretch marks.

Look at this way. You can’t fix the dead and broken cells that are causing your skin problems, but you can fix the ones right below them! Keeping yourself healthy, drinking a lot of water, eating a healthy diet, and getting your vitamins will increase your body’s natural ability to heal itself. It won’t get rid of your stretch marks in the blink of an eye, but getting a healthier body is worth the wait, isn’t it?
