After a little research into CRM for small business I’m pretty convinced that web-based CRM solutions hosted by the vendor as the best option. And who doesn’t love lists, so I decided to whip up a short list of reasons.
In the event you don’t know what CRM hosted software is let me give you a short definition: a hosted CRM solution run on the vendor’s machines and not yours, they are got at from a web interface or a desktop application.
Ok on to the list:

- Hosted CRM applications by and large come with all the high-end bells and whistles of an on-premises solution.
- Hosted CRM is a flexible solution that allows a small business to subscribe to only the features they need, when they require them. This “pay as you go” system enables a small business to conform the CRM solution to their needs.
- The perq of anytime, anywhere access to your Customer Relationship Management system from any web browser when necessary. This helps to facilitate the sales & marketing process in terms of accuracy, speed, and effectiveness.
- On-the-road availability supports sales record keeping, lead generation and sales conversion.
- Customer information is as safe and secure as anything you can come up with on your own.
- Vendors make sure your data is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- No fancy program to install & manage all you need is a standards-based web browser.
- No team of techs to hire and manage or to outsource support then wonder if they are going to reply in a prompt manner.
That is the short list of reasons I recommend going with hosted CRM on-line. As always this is just a starting point and as ever your own due diligence is required.
