Hannibal Brooks: Delightful yet forgettable film of a British prisoner of war( Reed) ordered to take a priceless elephant to the Munich Zoo during WW2. Made to go on foot, he turns trip into a plan to make an escape. Cast includes Oliver Reed, Michael J. Pollard, Wolfgang Preiss, Helmut Lohner, Karin Baal, and Peter Karsten. (101 minutes,’69)

Dead Man Walking: With his execution date is approaching, death row prisoner Mathew Poncelet is befriended by Sister Helen. Sister Helen sees a different side to Mathew than most get to see, and she feels his suffering. On the other side of the fence, she witnesses the anger and outrage of the families of Mathew’s murder victims. It will take all her faith to carry her through whatever outcome lies ahead.

Addicted to Love: This movie is a dark comedy which where we see an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their former partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of revenge for her former man. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star. (1997 dark comedy directed by Griffin Dunne)

Dementia Thirteen: Gory terror film set before the operation that changed her life. This is one of the more unique yet strange romantic comedies of our time. The film is kept on target by the quality acting of Mackintosh, who pulls off a difficult role. Cast includes William Campbell, Luana Anders, Bart Patton, Mary Mitchel, and Patrick Magee. Lost Horizon: James Hilton’s classic tale in reference to 5 Individuals tripping into strange Tibetan land where well being, harmony, and longevity reign. After being shown in revised reissue prints for years, this classic has been repaired to its primordial magnitude-albeit few scenes are still missing, and are signified by discussion only, depicted with stills. Cast includes Ronald Colman, Jane Wyatt, John Howard, Edward Everett Horton, Margo, Sam Jaffe, and Isabel Jewell. (132 minutes,’37)

Delirious: An astonishingly foolish comedy with a nice premise. A beleaguered soap opera author gets a conk on the head and fantasizes that he’s living in his own story in a heroic role that allows him to have his way with the lady he worships in the real word. Cast includes John Candy, Mariel Hemingway, Emma Samms, David Rasche, Charles Rocket, Raymond Burr, and Dylan Baker. (96 minutes,’91)

License To Kill: One of James Bond’s good friends is left near death at the hands of drug lord Franz Sanchez. Agent 007 is out to get Sanchez, without the support of M6. Unlike most Bond films, this one is personal for 007.
