Los Angeles, CA January 31 2004–LA, INC (Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau) has selected MAYO Communications (www.MayoCommunications.com) of Los Angeles as their agency of record for media relations for the upcoming Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) annual conference to be hosted by the City of Los Angeles. TIA is sponsoring International Pow Wow April 24-28 in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Pow Wow is the U.S. travel industry’s premiere international marketplace. More than 5000 US travel industry suppliers and international tour operators from 70 countries attend the event. An estimated $3 billion of future US travel business is negotiated during the five-day marketplace.
